Harlem Gospel Choir boasts the top singers and musicians from Harlem’s black churches and the entire Tri-State area.
The Choir was founded in 1986 by Allen Bailey from an inspiration at a Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration. Since then, the 65 member choir, ranging in age from 17 to 70, has traveled millions of miles around the globe, appeared on national television and performed with varying artists, including Madonna, Jimmy Cliff, John Legend, Jessica Simpson, Lisa Marie Presley, Bono and Josh Groban among many others.
